House Etiquette
Tharaldson House is a place for meaningful connection, thoughtful hospitality, and respect for one another. These guidelines help preserve the experience we all come here to enjoy.
Conduct
Treat every member, guest, and member of our team with kindness and respect.
Harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior, excessive intoxication, or conduct that disrupts the experience of others is not permitted.
Dress
Dress to elevate the experience. While jackets or heels aren’t required, a little elegance goes a long way.
Neat dressing and grooming is expected.
Technology
Please silence your phone upon arrival.
Phone calls should be taken outside. Laptops and tablets are not permitted.
Please respect the privacy of others when taking photographs.
Caring for the House
Preserve this historic home by treating the grounds with care.
Animals: Only trained service animals are permitted. Emotional support animals or pets are not permitted.
Smoking & Vaping: Not permitted inside, on the front porch, or within 25 ft of entrances. Chewing tobacco is prohibited.
Food & Beverage
Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless medically necessary. We'll take care of the rest.
Please leave tumblers and travel mugs in your bag or vehicle.
We'll gladly take care of the drinks and food so you can enjoy the gatherings.
Membership
Present your membership card upon arrival and sign the House Ledger.
Membership cards are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared. Replacement cards may be issued for a nominal fee.
All events are for guests 21 years and older, unless otherwise specified.
The Spirit of the House
